ICSF Receives Funding
The Illinois Center for Soy Foods (ICSF) at the University of Illinois
will be receiving funding from the Illinois Soybean Association for FY 2006.
The Center was established with funding from the Sentinel program
of the Illinois Council on Food and Agricultural Research (CFAR).
CFAR has provided over $1.53 million dollars to the Center. In addition,
significant financial support has been provided by the industry,
including the Midwest Food Manufacturing Alliance (MAFMA), ADM,
and Cargill. The Illinois Soybean Program Operating Board (ISPOB)
has also provided funding for specific activities undertaken by
the research team at the Center.
